In the 1980's, Lance worked at a movie theatre, but didn't know anything about making movies. He did, however, have a funky perm and enjoy the free popcorn. In the 1990's, Lance stopped getting perms and started paying for popcorn. In 2000, Lance began editing videos with a VCR which is like cutting a block of cheese with a plastic knife. But by 2001, Lance discovered digital video editing and began learning the art of video production. Between 2001 and 2010, Lance produced over 200 videos for charities, businesses, theatre projects, church services, and youth events. In 2005, Lance learned web design and now specializes in Joomla websites.
Lance is most happy taking on a creative challenge that can make the world a better place. In 2009, Lance founded Scene Change - a movement of young people who imagine and create a more just and compassionate world.
Lance currently lives in Hamilton, Ontario with his wife and 3 boys (James, Nathan, and Andrew). All of the Wright boys demonstrate their "never say die" attitude by continuing to be Toronto Maple Leaf fans no matter how many times they miss the playoffs.
